| 2021/01/15 | Alternative splicing cis-regulation in breast cancer risk - After more than a decade of identification of breast cancer (BC) risk loci via genome-wide association studies (GWAS), their functional role in cancer predisposition remains largely unclear. We performed cis-sQTL analysis followed by co-localization with GWAS hit-SNPs. 3 Genes were identified whose alternative splicing patterns potentially impact breast cancer susceptibility. Further functional analysis is required to identify regulatory SNPs. | LabClub
