Patrícia Alexandra Dias Nunes completed the Integrated Master in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering in 2018 by New University of Lisbon, School of Science and Technology. Her master thesis "Linking Process Product and Performance by Raman Imaging" was performed in collaboration with Hovione with a final grade of 18 values. This experience in scientific research in the pharmaceutical area has increased her interest for this research field, which led to starting a PhD in Pharmacy. She is doing a PhD in Pharmacy at the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Pharmacy in collaboration with Hovione since November of 2018. In 2021, she has submitted one article in a scientific journal and she is working on a manuscript to submit this year. Her work is focused on predicting the in vivo behavior of amorphous solid dispersions formulations with the ability to form drug-rich colloids under biorelevant dissolution, to create an in-silico platform for formulation development.
