2024/01/15 - 2024/11/01 Beyond the Edge of the Universe -Latest results from the deepest astronomical surveys- This conference builds on the success of previous "Edge of the Universe" meetings, returning to Sintra to explore breakthroughs in galaxy formation. New observatories are revealing the early Universe, bringing us closer to witnessing the first stars and galaxies. We analyze the latest observations from JWST, Euclid, ALMA, and VLT, and discuss them within current theoretical frameworks. (2024/10/21 - 2024/10/25)

2019/02/01 - 2019/06/30 SPARCS IX - Pathfinders get to work. As part of the lead-up to the SKA project, several next-generation radio telescopes are being built around the world, including LOFAR (NL), ASKAP (AU), Meerkat (SA), EVLA (USA), uGMRT (India), eMERLIN (UK), and Apertif (NL). These projects aim to survey the radio emission from galaxies, in order to understand their formation and evolution over cosmic time. To maximize their scientific return, the SKA PAthfinder Radio Continuum Survey (SPARCS) Working Group meets to coordinate, discuss & optimize strategies. (2019/05/06 - 2019/05/10)
