Miguel Rosa completed his Integrated Master's degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Aveiro in 2022. He is currently a student in the Environmental Sciences and Engineering doctoral program and a member of the Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies (CESAM). In addition, Miguel is a research fellow at the Emissions, Modeling, and Climate Change Group (GEMAC) of the Department of Environment and Planning. His research focuses on developing real-time air quality mapping tools for urban areas through the integration of modeling and monitoring data, and he is also responsible for developing air quality sensor technology. He is currently a member of the research team of the SAGE project, focusing mainly on air quality modeling and calculating atmospheric emissions. In the past three years, he has contributed to projects such as BigAir, EMERGE, and ARTUR, primarily focusing on air quality and emissions modeling. Additionally, he has provided consulting services at the University of Aveiro, including wildfire risk analysis for the Gösgen nuclear power plant, nitrogen oxide plume dispersion assessment, a decarbonization roadmap for the furniture sector, and air quality evaluation in Estarreja. He is an active member of Working Group 6 of FAIRMODE, focusing on sensors and data fusion. His contributions to the scientific community include three peer-reviewed scientific papers, five works presented at national/international scientific events, two databases, six technical reports, and the registration of one trademark.
