Dr. Ana Rita Lima Sousa (citation name: Rita Lima-Sousa) is a researcher specializing in nanotechnology, biomaterials, and cancer therapy. Dr Ana Rita Lima Sousa defended her PhD dissertation in Biochemistry (on February 8th, 2024), approved with distinction at the University of Beira Interior (UBI). She is open to the idea of new adventures in science, and has developed a recent interest in extracellular vesicles, tumor-induced cachexia, microfluidics and organ-on-a-chip.
