Nadine Correia is an integrated researcher at Iscte. With a background in Psychology (Degree - FP-UL, 2006; Ph.D. - Iscte, 2020) and Social Policy (Masters - ISCSP-UL, 2010), Nadine is particularly interested in children's rights - namely children's participation rights -, children's sociocognitive development, and early childhood education (ECE) settings' quality. In her Ph.D. she investigated children's right to participate in ECE. Nadine has published 20 scientific papers, 1 conference paper, 4 papers in non-scientific journals, and 3 book chapters. She has, for instance, published the only systematic review mapping research on children's participation in ECE, a theoretical overview of children's participation in ECE, an adaptation of the Lundy model of participation to ECE, and a chapter dedicated to young children's voices. Nadine received in-service training at the Council of Europe and the European Commission, and participated in the Erasmus+ projects PARTICIPA, Becerid, the EEA Grants project Track-IN, and currently integrates the Erasmus+ project KidLe. She is developing the HEAR project (Iscte, 2022-2028) funded by FCT. Her collaboration networks involve professionals from research and practice. She is an Invited Professor at Iscte and at Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa.
