I hold a PhD in International Politics/International Public Policy from Osaka University. Currently, I am a postdoctoral Fellow at the International Institute for Asian Studies, Leiden University (2022-2023) where I am preparing a manuscript for book publication. I was a recipient of the Japanese Government Scholarship (MEXT) and was a graduate student fellow at the National University of Singapore and the New School, New York. My research lies in the intersection of critical international relations theory, international political sociology, and postcolonial and decolonial studies.
