Flavio Luis de Oliveira

Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from Faculty of Anhanguera of Bauru, Brazil (2015) and Master's Degree in Biology and Water Quality Management from Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, Portugal (2017). Experience in Quality Control and Quality Management System ISO 9001. Participation in national and international conferences. In 2017, I joined the laboratory Blue Biotechnology and Ecotoxicology (BBE) to work as a research fellow in the Horizon 2020 project "NoMorFilm". During this period, I learned cyanobacteria cultivation techniques, cryopreservation, chemical extractions and the isolation of new compounds. Since 2019, I am working as a staff of the Blue Biotechnology and Ecotoxicology Culture Collection (LEGE-CC). This work includes the isolation and maintenance of various new cyanobacteria and microalgae strains. Since 2020, I have been working as a research fellow in the technology transfer of the project "EXTRATOTECA". The main tasks of this project are the characterization of strains and the production of extracts with the main target markets health, cosmetics, food, diets and fertilizers. I participated in different projects, such as the Horizon2020 funded TOXICROP and EMERTOX.
