PAULA CRISTINA DA SILVA ARAÚJO. A professional with over nine years of experience in sustainability, tourism, and marketing. Has a master's degree in tourism management and planning from the University of Aveiro. Her thesis was dedicated to analyzing sustainability indicators in a tourist destination. She is pursuing a PhD in marketing and strategy at the same institution with a thesis topic related to social marketing and sustainability in tourism. She has worked as a teacher at the Porto Hotel and Tourism School and participated in the Turismo de Portugal (TP) "Training + Next" program. Additionally, she has been a guest assistant in marketing at the University of Aveiro in the Department of Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, and Tourism (DEGEIT). She has published several articles and two book chapters and has a research grant from the ATT Agenda (Accelerate and Transform Tourism). Her main tasks in this research project include tourism economics, tourist demand, creating a living in the 'Barra / Costa Nova' region (Aveiro), and promoting the project.
