Evangelos Kalfopoulos has a PhD in Philosophy from Sofia University, Bulgaria. He is currently a post-doctoral researcher in Sofia University, working on a project entintled "Philosophical irony in contemporary philosophy of medicine". He is also a collaborating member of the Institute of Philosophical Studies (IEF) of the University of Coimbra. Within his activities at IEF, his research focuses on the strategic priorities " Care, Technology and Aesthetics" and "Care, Heritage and History of Philosohy".
