José Augusto Dâmaso Condeço completed the Degree in Chemical Engineering, branch of Applied Chemistry, at the University of Lisbon, Instituto Superior Técnico, in 1997. He obtained a Licentiate of Engineering Degree in Production Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in September 2002 and an Industrial Licentiate from the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences in April 2003. Between 2003 and 2011, he participated in several national and international research and development projects involving Industry and the University. José Condeço completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering in February 2017 at the University of Lisbon, Instituto Superior Técnico. Afterward, he was a postdoctoral collaborator at the Centre for Natural Resources and Environment of the University of Lisbon, within the scope of a PT2020 project. Presently, José Condeço is an Invited Assistant Professor at the Escola Superior de Tecnologia do Barreiro, Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal. At c5Lab, José is the Research Coordinator in the Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) field, dealing with various approaches to Carbon Capture and exploring the catalytic conversion of carbon dioxide emissions from the cement industry using PtG and PtL routes. Committed to develop sustainable solutions for a better future.
