Manuel José Pereira Rodrigues

Manuel Rodrigues graduated in Biology in July 2018 and completed the Master Degree in Ecology (Specialization in Marine Biology) in 2020, both from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology at the University of Coimbra. His core research focuses on the nutritional value of fish and seafood and their role in human health and nutrition. Gives special attention to the mineral composition of marine species (wild and cultured) and how specific factors can change their composition. Interested in marine and estuarine ecology, fisheries, aquaculture, human nutrition and safety.
