José Manuel de Castro Oliveira, has an academic path that started with an undergraduate course in Marketing and Management, followed by a master's in Marketing and Strategic Management, and a PhD in Business Sciences (management area) from the University of Minho. Currently, has the role of director of Escola Superior de Ciências Empresariais of ISPGAYA (Instituto Superior Politécnico Gaya), where he teaches management and coordinates the Management course. Additionally, teaches management at IPCA (Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave) to undergraduate and master courses. Researchers in co-authorship in the production of scientific works in the areas of Social Sciences, Economics, Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Green Economy, and Circular Economy, and is affiliated with the REMIT research center at Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique On market activities, he is the chairman of the board at Electrão - Associação de Gestão de Resíduos, an association related to waste management and circular economy.
