As a PhD researcher in molecular biosciences, I specialized in structural biology and molecular glycosciences, namely the study of glycan-protein interactions using glycan and protein microarray technologies. I have a solid formation in molecular biology and in production, biochemical and biophysical characterization and detection of recombinant proteins. My PhD research focused on the characterization of bacterial systems for glycan recognition in the human microbiome, but I also acquired knowledge on lectins and glycan-binding antibodies in the context of oncoimmunology and the tumor microenvironment which I am currently investigating as a postdoc research fellow. I've co-author 10 articles in journals and 2 book section. I've received 4 awards for best poster presentation. In general, I'm drawn to the fundamental study of biological mechanisms at a molecular level and its potential for the development of innovative and multidisciplinary solutions.
