My experience in the research area started in the PhD during the period from 2007 to 2011 at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona under the supervision of Professor Iluminada Gallardo and Dr. Gonzalo Guirado. My formation was in the area of physical- organic-chemistry, applying the electrochemical techniques of cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrolysis to the nucleophilic aromatic substitution reactions (SNAr) and performing the organic synthesis of the compounds to compere with the electrochemical technique. Furthermore, the use of the ionic liquids to these electrochemical promoted reactions of organic chemistry, bringing these reactions as close as possible to the green chemistry - a 'greener' route to the (SNAr) for the production of nitroarenes derivatives, performing electrochemistry in Room Temperature Ionic Liquids (RTILs) and for electrochemically activating as a building- block for synthesizing molecular organic compounds. Leading to 4 publications as first author in scientific journals (Electrochimica Acta, Chem. Comm., Green Chem., Eur. J. Org. Chem.). During this time, I done some teaching activities as Assistant Professor more than 100 hours of Practical and Practical classes. In the last five years, since 2015 until 2018, I'm was developing my postdoctoral project, entitled Functional Electrochromic Ionic Liquid devices and innovative electrorheological ionic fluids; in the research group REQUIMTE, FCT/UNL, Group Leader: Prof. F. Pina and under the guidance of Dr. Luis C. Branco. I directed my research in 2018-2020 in the development of Electrolytes for Electrochromic Devices (ECDs) based in Ionic Liquids (IL) and Deep Eutectic Solvents (DESs) were obtained. Also, the development of electrochromic materials based on bypiridinium derivatives (di and tetra cationic) were successfully studied, as well as, its application as intrinsically IL and DES electrolyte/electrochromic materials for ECD were successfully obtained for application in Green Chemistry (Green Solvents, Deep Eutectic Solvents, Electrolytes, Redox Carbon Dioxide, DSSCs, Electrorheology, Electrochromic Devices, ECDs, RFBs, Energy storage/conversion and Electrochemistry). Helping me to develop my studies in Linear Sweep Voltammetry, Square Wave Voltammetry Normal pulse Voltammetry, Diferencial pulse voltammetry, Dielectric Relaxation Spectroscopy, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (Nyquist and bode plot)and thermal analysis by DSC, RMN FTIR UV-Vis. Leading to 15 publications (9 of the 15 in Dyes and pigments, Pure Appl. Chem, chemphotochem, Faraday Discuss, Chem. Comm, RSC Adv., JOC and 2 in ChemPlusChem) in 6 as first author (J. Phys. Chem. A and Electrochimica Acta) and in 4 of them also corresponding author in scientific journals (Green Chem., ACS Sustainable Chem. Eng., Chemistry Select and Material Letters X), in international journals and 1 book chapters (Photo- Organocatalysis, Photo-Redox, and Electro-Organocatalysis Processes-Intech). Also, some lectures and poster presentations have been delivered in scientific events. Participation in 3 research projects as researcher: Sunstorage - Harvesting and Storage of Solar Energy; Advanced multifunctional mesoporous silica nanoparticles containing POM based IL and Development and application of electrochromic and magnetic IL. I also, supervise/co-supervise 3 students and classes in FCT-NOVA. Published 19 scientific articles (15 in the last 5 years), in international journals and 1 book chapters, with 160 citations and H of 9 without self-citations. In 9 of them my contribution were the study and development of the electrochemical studies, determination of electrochemical parameters to flavylium based, europium(iii) RTILs, to bypiridinium salts derivatives applying in ECDs, photochromic RTILS and DSSCs.In 6 of them as the first author/corresponding author (in 4) leading/developing the synthetic and electrochemical characterisation, electrolytes/electrochromic for application in ECDs and DSSCs.
