Anas Fahad Khan holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Glasgow, an MSc in Mathematical Logic from the University of Manchester, and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham. He currently holds the position of full time Researcher (Ricercatore a Tempo Inderminato) Istituto Di Linguistica Computazionale `A. Zampolli' at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche in Italy. His areas of interest include lexical resources (with a special emphasis on standards for the creation of lexical resources), linguistic linked data, ontology modelling, and the intersection between the digital humanities and computational linguistics. He is currently a member of the ISO working group ISO/TC 37/SC 4/WG 4 and is a co-leader of the ISO standard LMF - Part 3: Diachrony-Etymology. In addition he is a member of the British Standards Institute and the CLARIN ERIC standards committee. Dr Khan is currently working in the European projects ELEXIS and TRIPLE.
