Daniela Melo Magalhães has a bachelor degree on Biology and a Master´s degree on Molecular Biology and Genetics. The Master’s thesis aimed to study the progression of neuroninflmmatory markers in the organotypic hippocampal slice model of epileptogenesis. Currently, Daniela is taking a PhD in integrative Neurosciences at the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa. Her project focus on elucidating the molecular mechanism underlying the social isolation in a mice model. The project is been undertaking between Instituto de Medicina Molecular – João Lobo Antunes and University of Brighton, United Kingdom
