Sergio Prats Alegre concluded his European PhD in 2013 under the Marine & Environmental PhD program (PROMAR) in the University of Aveiro, and has a MsC degree in Environmental Sciences in the University of Coimbra. Bachelor in Environmental Sciences (2003) and Pedagogic Specialization Course (2005). He is a researcher at the University of Évora MED -Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development. He is the PI of 2 research projects. Has received 2 awards and/or distinctions and has more than 30 outreach activities. He is/was member of organizing and scientific committees of 5 international conferences and workshops. He is also reviewer for 14 Q1 international journals. He works in the area of Environmental Engineering and Agrarian Sciences with emphasis on Soil Science, and also in Engineering and Technology.
