Ester Coelho de Oliveira holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's in Political Economy, where her research focused on the challenges faced by informal caregivers in Portugal, titled "Informal Caregivers: Is There a Light at the End of the Tunnel? An Analysis of the Informal Caregiver Statute". This work was awarded the Silva Leal Prize 2024. Ester is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Policy at Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, with a research grant from FCT (2025.02321.BD).
