Gisela Sofia Mendes Machado de Oliveira. Concluiu a Licenciatura em Biologia, pela Universidade de Coimbra, em 2004, e concluiu o Doutoramento em Biologia da Reprodução, pela University of Birmingham (Reino Unido), em 2008. Terminou Pós-doutoramento em Medicina Regenerativa, na Universidade do Algarve (Campus de Gambelas) em 2018, estando atualmente envolvida num projeto de Pós-doutoramento no âmbito do estudo de Lisossomas em Patologias Crónicas, na Universidade Nova de Lisboa (CEDOC). Publicou variados artigos científicos, incluindo 10 artigos em jornais especializados, tendo também participado na elaboração de 2 capítulos de livro.
