Flávia Soares Peres

I have an under degree in Nursing (2012 - PUC Minas, Brazil) and a master degree in Public Health, with specialization in Epidemiology (2016 - UFMG, Brazil). I am a non-doctorate investigator at Instituto de Saúde Pública da Universidade do Porto (ISPUP) since 2018. Currently, I am a member of Unidade de Investigação em Epidemiologia (EPIUnit), and I am a researcher fellow at the project "HIneC - When do health inequalities start? Understanding the impact of childhood social adversity on health trajectories from birth to early adolescence"(POCI-01-0145-FEDER—029567). Amongst my previous experiences, I highlight working as a supervisor of outcomes at the Longitudinal Study of Adult Heath in Brazil (ELSA-Brasil). My research interests lie primarily in the area of Social Epidemiology, especially in the consequences of social adversities for health during the lifespan.
