Diana Lisandra Azevedo Ferreira is an ambitious and devoted Master in Biomedical Engineering, more specifically in the field of Medical Informatics, which was completed in 2018/09/24 at the University of Minho. She is currently a PhD student of the Biomedical Engineering Program since 2020/09/01 and integrates the research team of the ALGORITMI Research Centre of the University of Minho, more specifically the Knowledge Engineering Group (KEG), where she analyses, develops, implements and maintains valid and robust solutions to biomedical problems, particularly in healthcare, in order to improve the experience and work of health professionals as well as the quality of life of patients. She participates and/or participated as a Research Fellow in 3 projects, two of which are the result of the partnership between Bosch and the University of Minho within the INNOVATIVE Car HMI project and the third one is European project called DRIVES - Development and Research on Innovative Vocational Educational Skills. In addition, she presents a huge interest and enthusiasm for Engineering Sciences and Technologies with emphasis on Biomedical Engineering. She published 6 articles in journals, 16 book chapters, 4 conference papers, and participated in the organization of a conference. In her professional activities she interacted with 52 collaborators in co-authorships of scientific papers.
