Francisca Gonçalves Perfeito is a motivated young researcher hoping to improve the world through the understanding and development of innovative biomaterials. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology in 2018, as well as her Master's degree in Materials and Biomedical Devices, both in University of Aveiro. Eager to learn more, in October 2018, she enrolled in a research scholarship at CICECO - Aveiro Institute of Materials, aiming to synthesize magnetic nanoparticles in order to exploit their potential as magnetic temperature sensors for both hyperthermia and cryogeny applications. Currently, she is a PhD student at CICECO (University of Aveiro) Despite her appeal for Biotechnology, Nanotechnology and Biomedical engineering, she aspires to learn a wide and differentiated range of subjects, in order to interconnect concepts and innovate research.
