Fábio Sousa Nunes (MD) is a Cardiology Resident at the Centro Hospitalar de Vila Nova de Gaia / Espinho Portugal. He finished his medical degree in 2018 from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP). Since then, he has completed a two-year post-graduate certification in clinical research (Clinical Scholars Research Training Program) from the Foundation For Science and Investigation (Portugal) and Harvard Medical School (US). He has enrolled in the PhD program in Cardiovascular Sciences at FMUP in 2021. He is an author or co-author to 11 PubMed indexed papers and has presented works at both national and international scientific events. He is also an invited assistant of Medical Physiology at FMUP.
