Integrated researcher at ICNOVA and photographer. I have a degree in journalism and a Master in Communication from the Federal University of Paraíba, Brazil. I am a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences by ICNOVA, having investigated the representation of the Brazilian in contemporary Portuguese photography. I am a guest professor at Universidade Lusófona, teaching Photography and Anthropology. Actually, I am also an assistant researcher in the Photo Impulse project (funded by FCT - PTDC / COM-OUT / 29608/2017) with a focus on the Anthropological Missions in São Tomé and Príncipe carried out in the 20th century.
