I am a Guest Assistant Professor at the Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Lisbon and a researcher at the Centre for Public Administration and Public Policies of the University of Lisbon. I have obtained my PhD at the ISEG Lisbon School of Economics and Management with Summa Cum Laude. During my PhD, I have been a Visiting Researcher at the Center for Social Policy (CSB) Herman Deleeck at the University of Antwerp. My dissertation was funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology of Portugal (FCT). I specialize in political economy, and my research focusses on the interactions between labour, public policy and economic development from a comparative and historical perspective.
