Izabel Christine Seara is a professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He obtained his Master's degree (1994) and Doctorate in Linguistics (2000) also from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) - Brazil. He completed a Post-Doctorate at the Université Paris 3 - Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris-France) at the Laboratoire de Phonétique et Phonologie (2012); as well as by the University of Aveiro (Aveiro-Portugal) in the Phonetics Laboratory (2019). Participates in the Project: Prosodic Multimedia Atlas of the Romanesque Space-Portuguese Language (AMPER-POR), since 2009; and the Interphonologie du Français Contemporain Project (IPFC), since 2012. She is also involved in the following projects: (1) Nasality of vowels and consonants in Guarani; and (2) Acoustic, aerodynamic and articulatory analysis of speech.
