PT - Eu, João Guilherme Andrade Serra, licenciei-me em Biotecnologia em 2016 pela Universidade da Beira Interior, e em 2018 concluí o Mestrado em Biotecnologia Industrial e Ambiental realizado na Universidade de Aveiro. Realizei um estágio, no âmbito da minha dissertação de mestrado, no Centro de Investigação e Desenvolvimento Associação BLC3-Campus de Tecnologia e Inovação, que consistiu na avaliação de impactes ambientais, através da utilização da metodologia de Avaliação do Ciclo de Vida (ACV), de diversas formas de valorar a biomassa florestal. Sou bolseiro de investigação no Departamento de Ambiente e Planeamento da Universidade de Aveiro, onde estive envolvido em 2 projetos de investigação "SGH - Smart Green Homes" e "NEXTRA - Enabling the NEXT Generation of Smarter TRAnsformers". Encontro-me neste momento a realizar o doutoramento em Ciências e Engenharia do Ambiente na Universidade de Aveiro. Tenho diversos interesses e conhecimentos nas áreas da Biotecnologia, Engenharia e Gestão Ambiental, nomeadamente ferramentas baseadas na avaliação do ciclo de vida com o objetivo de promover a sustentabilidade de produtos e sistemas no âmbito da economia circular. Participei em diversos eventos relacionados com a área da Biotecnologia Ambiental, e mais recentemente como bolseiro de investigação em eventos direcionados para a área da Engenharia Ambiental. EN - I, João Guilherme Andrade Serra, graduated in Biotechnology in 2016 at the University of Beira Interior, and in 2018 completed the Master in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology held at the University of Aveiro. I carried out an internship, within the scope of my master's thesis, at the Research and Development Center Associação BLC3-Campus de Tecnologia e Inovação, consisting of the assessment of environmental impacts, through the use of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, of various ways of valuing forest biomass. I am a research fellow at the Department of Environment and Planning at the University of Aveiro, where I was involved in 2 research projects "SGH - Smart Green Homes" and "NEXTRA - Enabling the NEXT Generation of Smarter TRAnsformers". I am currently undertaking my PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering at the University of Aveiro. I have several interests and knowledge in the areas of Biotechnology, Engineering and Environmental Management, in particular tools based on life cycle assessment with the aim of promoting the sustainability of products and systems within the scope of the circular economy. I participated in several events related to the area of Environmental Biotechnology, and more recently as a research fellow in events directed to the area of Environmental Engineering.
