P. Carvalho (Ph.D, Linguistics) is a Researcher at INESC-ID. Her research interests lie in the broad areas of Natural Language Processing, Corpus Linguistics, and Computational Social Sciences. Over the last years, she has been involved in several interdisciplinary research projects related to the development of informed natural language resources and methods, and their application to digital humanities and social sciences research problems. Currently, her research is particularly focused on the analysis and detection of information disorder on social media, including hate speech and conspiracy theories.
