My scientific journey has been focused on the development of electroactive materials for tissue engineering applications, with 15 ISI-indexed papers, 2 book chapters, and over 150 citations (h-index of 7, Scopus).My path has equipped me with a strong multidisciplinary foundation and advanced expertise in the interaction between smart biomaterials and biological systems. I completed my PhD in Materials Engineering in 2023, focusing on neural tissue engineering approaches. I had the opportunity to consolidate international collaborations at esteemed institutions such as the Centre for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering (Valencia, Spain), the UK Dementia Research Institute (University of Cambridge, UK) and the BCMaterials and Achucarro Basque Center for Neuroscience (Basque Country, Spain). My contributions have been showcased through 6 oral communications (3 of which were invited) and 4 conference posters presented at both national and international conferences. Currently, I hold an invited assistant researcher contract at the Center of Physics of the University of Minho and Porto, within the scope of the 0140_BIOIMP_ACE_MAS_6_E R&D project.
