Researcher with 10+ years experience in Glycobiology and Cancer Research. Diana Campos (DC) is a BSc in Biochemistry and MSc in Molecular Oncology by the University of Porto with an awarded international PhD fellowship by FCT to conduct her 5 years research in Copenhagen Center for Glycomics (University of Copenhagen). DC obtained the PhD degree in Biomedicine in 2015 and spent 1 year Post-doctoral training at Lombardi Cancer Centre, Georgetown University, Washington DC, then joining the Glycobiology in Cancer group at I3S, University of Porto. DC has a total of 15 publications in international journals (impact factor ranging from 3.5 to 22.8), including most recent publications in Cancer Cell (2019) and, as first author, in Trends in Cancer (2020). She was the main supervisor of a MSc student (thesis). She was invited to teach a course at Faculty of Medicine and participated in outreach activities such as CienciaViva. She was awarded funding and the participation in RESOLVE Program 2017 and HiSeedTech Program 2018, which promote translational and management skills for scientists.
