Lorena Salamanca (Cali, Colmbia - 1990) is an independent researcher based in Lisbon. She graduated in visual arts and aesthetics from Universidad del Valle (Colombia) with a focus on contemporary art, archives and performance. Previously based in Mexico City she was co-editor of Cuerpo Pólvora, Terremoto magazine, issue #15, and developed the research and construction of the educational program "Mesas de diálogo: Performance en revisión 1990 - 2019 Memory and archive of action art, performance and documentation in Mexico", coordinated by Local 21 arte. In 2018 she worked on the conceptualization of "Antonio Juárez Caudillo's archive" at Centro de Documentación Arkheia - Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (Mexico). In 2017 she assisted in the "Estabilización, descripción y digitalización de documentos audiovisuales y fotográficos en formatos análogos del fondo Ex Teresa Arte Actual", and between 2014 and 2016 in the research on the Tulio Emiro Sandoval's archive.
