I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of Vigo, having completed a Master's degree in Food Quality and Safety through a dual-degree program between the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, Portugal, and the Federal University of Technology – Paraná (UTFPR), Brazil, where I also obtained my Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering. My licentiate degree in Food Engineering was conferred by the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. From March to July, I was a scholarship recipient of the ERASMUS internship program at the University of Vigo, Spain. Additionally, I participated in the "Summer with Science" project, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) in Portugal, where I worked on the chemical and nutritional characterization of foods and investigated their bioactive properties. During my undergraduate studies, I volunteered for the Institutional Scientific Initiation Scholarship Program (PIBIC), developing the project "Aflatoxins in Milk: Incidence and Exposure Risk." I also took on leadership roles as an organizer and volunteer in the NGO extension project Mediares and as Marketing Director for the alimentaCão extension project. Moreover, I served as a student representative and member of the Departmental Council of the Food Engineering Program (DAALM) at UTFPR
