I have a bachelor in Material Engineering from the Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais in Brazil, and a master degree in Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança in Portugal (IPB). I am currently a PhD fellow in Biotechnology at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in partnership with Centro de Investigação de Montanha (CIMO) at IPB. I have worked on the PLANTCOVID project (PLANTCOVID - Applications of plant extracts with SARS-CoV-2 targeted action), where I carried out extractions and analysis of plant extracts to be used against SARS-CoV-2 virus. I am a first author of two ISI indexed research articles in the Food Science and Technology field, author of two international conference proceeding, three oral communication in an international conference, and also an author of some international conference posters. I have organized the XIX Student Conference of Material Science and Engineering of the MERCOSUL, and the II Symposium of Engineering and Environmental Entrepreneurship. In 2019, I was awarded a scholarship to conclude my master's degree in Chemical Engineering in Portugal at the IPB. I have a scientific driven mind, with concerns on the sustainability of processes and products.
