I am Currently a PhD student and a researcher (for the project Reliable B2|B3) at The University of Porto in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering under the supervision of Prof. A. Pedro Aguiar (Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering). Regarding my Master and Bachelor degrees, I would say that I graduated with a Master degree in Control Engineering in (2014-2016) from The Shahrood University of Technology (SUT), Iran, (with a GPA of 18.6/20, awarded the first rank among 27 of my classmates). My Bachelor’s degree which is in Robotics Engineering was also received from SUT in (2005-2009) (with a GPA of 16.38/20, awarded the second rank among 61 of my classmates). During my studying and after being graduated I have always been engaged in learning different programming skills, robot controlling workshops, co-authoring papers or books to constantly move forward. Regarding my professional skills and research interests, I can mention, “Reinforcement Learning”, “Aerial and Marine Vehicles”, “Mobile Manipulators”,” Intelligent Control”, “Impedance control”, “Fuzzy Systems”, “Robotics”, “Adaptive Control”, “Robust Control”, “Nonlinear Control”, “Robot Dynamic and Modelling”, “Vision based Control”, “Control Barrier Functions”, and “Control Lyapunov Functions”. In terms of my practical experiences, I can highlight my skills in “programing (PYTHON, MATLAB, and C++)”, ” mechanical design software (Solid works)”, “electronics interfaces (different sensors, Arduino DUE boards, and different motors (DYNAMIXEL, DC, and Stepper Motors)”, “practical experience in controlling robots in Joint and task space”, and “practical experience in controlling different robotic platforms ( flexible, none-flexible, robot manipulators, mobile robots, underactuated Marine vehicles, and ships)”. Regarding my publications, I have published 3 articles (two journal papers and one conference paper indexed in IEEE) in my area of research, 2 published books in programming techniques and fuzzy systems (written in Persian and published in Iran, my first published book provides a detailed solution for problems of the fifteen sessions of the book: “A course in fuzzy systems and control”, which was authored by Dr. Li-Xin Wang. My second authored book provides a detailed support for students looking for MTLAB codes, simulation, algorithms related to Control and Robotic Engineering). I have also several under review papers in different international journals with the cooperation of different professors in subject of control and Robotics in Iran, Portugal, and China. Working experience in industry has always been held in high regard by me. I have around 4 years’ experience in three big companies in Iran (working as a researcher or as a robotic engineer). I also have experience working as a lecturer at different universities in Iran (around 3 years) and different private institutions in Iran (more than 10 years) teaching programming, mathematics, and robotics classes. The experience of teaching courses including covered topics: “Intelligent Control”, “Digital and Nonlinear Control”, “Software Engineering of Control Systems”, “Actuators in Control”, and “Robotics”. Regarding my finished and successful projects I can highlight “Designing and Manufacturing an Industrial SCARA robot”, “Designing a mobile robotic manipulator (A Six-DOF revolute robot arm on a mobile base)”, “Designing robotic manipulators in Solidworks and Extracting robot dynamics for simulation and MATLAB Coding for implementing different control techniques”, “Designing, manufacturing, and controlling of a 4-DOF electrically driven laboratory robot”, “Designing and manufacturing a 2-DOF robot manipulator by using Arduino boards”, and “Designing and manufacturing of an intelligent car park system using a fuzzy controller.
