Carlos Souto completed his "Mestrado em Mecânica Computacional" (Master's in Computational Mechanics) in 2020 by University of Porto (UP), Faculty of Engineering (FEUP), and "Licenciatura em Engenharia Mecânica" (Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering) in 2018 by University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), School of Science and Technology (ECT). He is a Researcher at Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) and Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (INEGI) of Associated Laboratory for Energy, Transports and Aeronautics (LAETA), by his participation in 2 research fellowships (Scientific Initiation Fellow and Research Fellow) associated with the FASCOLD project funded by the Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS) of the European Commission and the FiberBridge project funded by Portugal's Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
