Luís Homem (Lisbon, 21/12/1978) has a degree in Philosophy (2005) and a Ma degree in Natural and Environmental Philosophy at the same University (2008), having also completed a Ma degree in Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of Salamanca (2012). He then received a PhD in Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of Salamanca with the thesis "Topics in Programming Languages, a Philosophical Analysis through the case of Prolog" (2018). Being a doctorate integrated member of the Center for Philosophy of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (CFCUL), the author has developed research mainly in Philosophy of Logic, Science and Language. He has been an integrated member of the CFCUL since the summer of 2011. He is fundamentally dedicated to two branches of research, related to the Philosophy of Sciences: 1. To the zenith and splendor of a Philosophy of Nature in the school of Alexandria, and corresponding nadir and last gasp with the circle of Vienna. 2. And also in Philosophy of Logic and Computing, where he is a proponent of the concept of U-Mentalism (computability by difference and repetition of images, singular and universal programming language by visual patterns and inversion of classical computer architecture): https://u-mentalism.com .
