Guido Szekir Berger is a researcher at the Digitalization and Intelligent Robotics Research Center (CeDRI) and works on developing cooperative robotic systems applied to different application domains. He is currently linked to the “iCarbono” project, which aims to establish an intelligent and innovative system for monitoring carbon sequestration, storage and emission at multiple scales. Guido Szekir Berger has experience and scientific knowledge in cooperative robotics, sensing, instrumentation, and artificial intelligence. Its primary expertise focus is linked to Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) applications, with several publications in magazines and scientific events as indicators. He is currently a student in the doctoral program (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) with a scientific focus linked to cooperative robotics between UAV and UGV dedicated to persistent operations in the domain of precision agriculture.
