I graduated in History from the University of Málaga (2012), after which I moved to the University of Zaragoza, where I studied the Master's in Antiquity Sciences (2013), receiving the extraordinary prize. Thanks to a FPU predoctoral contract by the Ministry of Education (2014-2018) I carried out my PhD. thesis, Cultura epigráfica y romanización en la Hispania meridional (2019), supervised by prof. Francisco Beltran Lloris. This thesis, graded with outstanding cum laude and international mention, deserved the extraordinary doctoral award from the University of Zaragoza (2020). Between 2021 and 2023 I have been a researcher hired by the European Digital Humanities project ‘SELECT: Self-Learning Atlas of Ancient European Cultures’. As of April 2023, I join as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Lisbon with a scientific stimulus contract from the Portuguese FCT. I keep three main lines of research. The first one is the study of the epigraphic culture and its relationship with Romanization, with a special interest in Roman Spanish provinces of Baetica and Lusitania. Following the concepts of epigraphic culture and habit delimited by G. Alföldy, R. MacMullen and G. Woolf, among others, the public use of writing is a characteristic feature of Roman culture, whose extension can be used as an indicator of the changes associated with romanization, including linguistic Latinization, and indigenous adaptations. My thesis, which was published in 2020 as a monograph, belongs to this line of work, as well as my current posdoctoral fellowship in the University of Lisbon.. A second line of work is focused on the epigraphic representation in fragmentary languages from a comparative perspective. The moment of greatest intensity of the indigenous epigraphies occurs between the 3rd and 1st c. B.C., coinciding with the Roman expansion. Comparative epigraphy, a field in which Zaragoza has been a pioneer, seeks to overcome the methodological difficulties of dealing with fragmentary languages by comparing different cultural spaces. For myself, this has implied a knowledge of pre-Roman languages and writings (the so-called Paleo-European epigraphies) and their working methodologies. In addition to exerting influence on the aforementioned works, in which I compared southern Hispania with other contemporary areas, it is necessary to highlight my works on the epigraphic representation of local magistrates and on women and Paleo-European. The third line of work is the publication and edition of epigraphic novelties. I have taken advantage of my training with epigraphists such as F. Beltrán or B. Díaz. These new pieces include one of the oldest paleo-Christian inscriptions in Aragon or the fragment of Santa Eulalia.
