I am a passionate biomedical researcher with over seven years of experience in immunology, committed to making meaningful contributions to human health through impactful research on immune-related diseases. My academic journey began with a BSc in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra (2011–2014), followed by a MSc in Biomedical and Molecular Science Research from King’s College London (2015–2016). In April 2024, I earned my PhD in Biomedical Sciences, with a specialization in Immunology, awarded with Distinction and Honors through the Lisbon Biomedical and Clinical Research PhD Program at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, and Instituto de Medicina Molecular João Lobo Antunes. Currently, as a postdoctoral researcher in Luis Graça’s lab at the Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine (GIMM) in Lisbon, I focus on unraveling the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying immune-related diseases, particularly autoimmune disorders. My work aims to improve diagnostics and drive innovative therapeutic solutions, contributing to a deeper understanding of immune system dysfunction and its broader implications.
