PEDRO MIGUEL LOPES ROLO

Master in mechanical engineering, degree awarded by the University of Aveiro. Currently I am as researcher in the project A new era in autonomous power generation systems from biomechanical sources for multifunctional implantable medical devices (POCI-01-0145-FEDER-031132). I am attending the PhD Program in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Aveiro. During my academic career I have authored a patent and written a chapter of a book. After finishing my master thesis, was awarded first place in the challenge 2021 research of Practical Utility organized by Fraunhorfer Portugal that rewards the best ideas, applied to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), present in master's and doctoral theses. Currently I am co-author of 3 scientific papers (2 already published and 1 submitted), and recently I submitted for evaluation another scientific paper of which I am the first author. On a personal level I have participated in EBEC - European BEST Engineering Competition, in which in the 3 years that I participated I obtained 3 local awards 2 national awards and I represented Portugal in the European phase that took place in Turin in 2019.
