Luis Berrocal-Rangel: completed the Doctor in History and Geography (Prehistory & Archaeology) in 1992 by Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Departamento de Prehistoria y Arqueología. Also, I have been visitor in the University of Oxford (1994) and the Instituto Português do Património (Évora, 1989). From 2016 to 2019, he taught in the University of the Basque Country (master "Cuaternario. Paisaje y Huella humana") and in the Complutense University of Madrid (master "Experto en Historia Militar."). He has directed forty marter's thesis and five doctoral thesis. In 2015, he took part in the Erasmus+ Programme with the Queen's University of Belfast. His research has been focussed to the study of Hispano-Celtic peoples, thanks to my excavations in sites as Capote (1987-2006); Llagú (2000-2005), Nertobriga (2010-2011) and Chilla (2013-2014). In 2003, he accepted the offer of António Carlos Silva (IPPAR), of excavating the site of Ratinhos (Baixo Alentejo, Portugal). With co-funding from the Portuguese company GESTALQUEVA and the Spanish Ministry of Culture, they dug this site from 2004 to 2007 and the results were published in a monograph of O Arqueólogo Português (Lisboa, 2010). Between their main goals was the identification of one of the older oriental shrine of Western Europe. Also, his research was improved by the direction of the excavations of the Iron Age site of Llagú (Asturias, Spain) that motivated him to apply the Spanish governmental project ¿The Iron Age fortifications of the Western and Northern Iberia¿ (BAR2003-02199). In this project, Archaeological heritage was studied as motor of social, cultural and economic prosperity . The results were co-edited with Pierre Moret, in Paisajes fortificados de la Edad del Hierro (Madrid, 2007). Later, I have co-directed excavations in the Roman and Iron Age city of Nertobriga (Spain), with Jose Luis de la Barrera and Rafael Caso, which results published in a monography (2017). Nowadays, he is main researcher in the Spanish governmental project ¿The Protohistoric Architecture in the Western Spanish Meseta¿ (HAR2016-77739-P), with innovative research (LiDAR, T.I.C.) about ramparts, household architecture and the sculptures of ¿verracos¿, published in JAS-Reports (2018) and European Journal of Archaeology (2019). For them, he has participated as distinguished speaker, in annual congress of the Association Française pour l¿Étude de l¿âge du Fer, and in the NORM 74 (University of Portland, USA, 2019). This research allows him to get the acknowledgement of five research cycles (1987-2017)
