Miguel Hinostroza has received his PhD degree in Naval architecture and ocean engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon in 2021. In 2017 he was in an intership at the AMOS, NTNU, Norway. He has received his MsC degree in Naval architecture and Marine Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon in 2014. He got his BSc degree in Mechatronics engineering (Degree recognized by the University of Lisbon) from the Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria, Lima, Peru in 2012. He is working as a researcher in control and dynamics of autonomous surface vehicles at the Centre for Marine Technology and Ocean Engineering (CENTEC) during the last 8 years.
