Helbert da Rocha holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Beira Interior in 2023. Helbert received his MSc. degree in Computer Science and his Technologist degree in Internet Systems at the Federal University of Technology, Paraná, Brazil, in 2018 and 2016, respectively. He was an exchange student of the Brazilian Program Science Without Borders in 2013, at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA. Currently, Helbert is a postdoctoral researcher at the Instrumentation and Measurement Laboratory (IML) at the University of Beira Interior, Portugal. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, sensors and actuators, interoperability in the Industrial Internet of Things, Industry 4.0, and the IEEE 1451 family of standards.
