Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication, with a specialization in Journalism, from Centro Universitário Fluminense (UNIFLU), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the School of Social and Human Sciences of the NOVA University of Lisbon (NOVA FCSH); and currently a PhD candidate in International Relations at the same institution. With ten years of experience in journalism, primarily focused on political and security reporting, her academic work is dedicated to security studies within International Relations. Her master's research examined public security in the state of Rio de Janeiro, and her doctoral project focuses on urban violence and security. Her current research contributes to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, particularly addressing SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).
