Miguel Belo holds a PhD in Tourism, awarded in 2022 by the Univeristy of Lisbon, and a Master's Degree from the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies. He is an Assistant Professor at Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies, where he is sub-coordinator of the Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management. He is an integrated researcher at CiTUR - Centre for Applied Research in Tourism (centre accredited by FCT, the Portuguese National Funding Agency for Science, Research and Technology). He has experience as a member of research teams in 6 competitive research projects. He focus his research in the fields of tourism and leisure and business sciences, including the publication of 4 papers in journals indexed in Scopus (Q2 and Q3), as well as books (3) and book chapters (4) in global editors with peer review. He is a reviewer for 4 journals indexed in Scopus (Q1, Q2, and Q3). He was a member of the scientific comission of 7 international events and of the organization comitee of 2 international events.
