BÁRBARA MAIA SARAIVA

Bárbara Maia Saraiva was born in Covilhã, Portugal, in 2000. She graduated in Industrial Chemistry from the Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI) in 2021 and obtained her Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry from UBI in 2023. Her master's dissertation was titled "Encapsulation of lavandim essential oil and its incorporation into bioactive films for application in the food industry." Currently, she is a PhD student in Chemistry, at UBI, with a grant from the PRR Project "GIATEX-Gestão Inteligente da Água na ITV" (Intelligent Water Management in the Textile and Clothing Industry), focusing on the "Electrochemical oxidation of effluents from dyeing baths with natural dyes: effluents reuse and LCA".
