Pedro Catalão Moura (P. C. Moura), PhD in Biomedical Engineering by NOVA School of Science and Technology, NOVA University of Lisbon, is Invited Assistant Professor and Researcher at the Department of Physics of the same institution and Invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of Lusófona University. Since 2019, P. C. Moura has dedicated his scientific activity to the evaluation of the air quality in open and closed environments with focus on industrial and heavily populated places, and to the evaluation of the toxic contaminants in the human health. P. C. Moura was granted two research scholarships granted by FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia. Since 2021, P. C. Moura already published more than 20 scientific papers in international peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he has been developing his pedagogic activity by teaching disciplines like Physics (Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Electromagnetism), Biophysics, Imageology, Electrophysiology, Instrumentation and other.
