João MCS Abrantes, Professor at "Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias", Integrated Researcher of CICANT (Centre for Research in Applied Communication, Culture, and New Technologies) and coordinator of MovLab (Laboratory of Technologies for Interactions and Interfaces). The scientific interaction development follows two major focus: the adaptation of numerical models developed in Biomechanics applied to the analysis of movements dependents of self-control ; and, the Human Movement output as source of information and communication, for the analyst and for the performer. The PhD (1986) on Human Kinetic Sciences and the Habilitation title (1999), was achieved both in Technical University of Lisbon (UTL) where was pro-rector (1999-2005).
