Dr. Seyedehmaryam Sadeghi is a researcher in the Physics department of the Faculty of Science at the University of Porto at Professor André Pereira group (IFIMUP). Her educational background includes a bachelor of science degree in Applied Chemistry and a master of science degree in Analytical chemistry both at the University of Mazandaran, Iran. She has completed her Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, Portugal under the supervision of Prof. Helena M.V.M. Soares. Since 2014, Dr. Seyedehmaryam Sadeghi has published 9 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals and 1 non-ISI (h-index of 5) and has participated in 7 communications ( 6 oral and 1 poster) in international conferences. She gained outstanding experiences in metal characterization, environmentally-friendly techniques, hydrometallurgical process, separation and purification techniques, waste management, nanomaterials for energy storage systems, supercapacitors, smart textiles, sensor fabrication, electrochemical characterization and several coating techniques (impregnation, stencil printing, and screen-printing). Currently, she officially supervises an undergraduate student and has unofficially been the supervisor of several Erasmus Master's students during her PhD.
